Off to Cincinnati Ohio

Last night we had dinner at Eddie Merlot's and it was great!

4th Street Live was hopping!

Our room at the Hyatt downtown was great! It overlooks the Convention center.
Got a great rate on the room $113.

Back at the marina, well take the cover off and we are ready to go!

You can see on this picture how high the river was during the 37 flood!

Gas up and we are off to Cincinnati!

Burning lots if Coal..

Although these are the future, Gas Turbines!

More coal ..

Coal on fire....... Waiting to be burned ..

Sorry for more smoke stacks at least the ones burning are scrubbed!

Great houses

Bridge construction  ...

Burning.... Clean coal?

Markland Lock and Dam almost to Cincinnati..

Come on in..

This lock is in bad need of maintenance! The doors are leaking big time..

We have not seen Zebra Mussels in any of the other locks but here the lock walls that stay shaded have plenty.

The zebras are hard on the fenders..

Waters up and we are ready to roll!

Next stop Cincinnati ..

Interesting house with lots of white fence..

If you look real close you will see the Bald Eagle getting ready to snag a fish from the river.. the next two picture show him coming in for the kill and then success. He was much closer to us than it shows in the picture...really cool!!

Going down to the water
Success!! Dinner is served....

Lots of interesting house on the water..

More power

Big new Boat Launch

Neat little River Front..

Another casino boat with blacked out windows,  Looks like this boat did cruise at one time..

Very big facility, lots of money being lost to pay for this many square feet...

When we see a rock like this we often wonder how it got there...this one is also
 a Navigation Marker

Church Steeples...

Another Casino...

Building has water under it...must have to be..on the water to be legal...

Power for Cincinnati..

Huge power plant right on the river.. Water temperature downstream of the plant was 6 degrees warmer 96 Deg..

Boats rafted together having a Friday party.

Coming into town...

Another double decker bridge

Reds Stadium

Right downtown...

Now that's a Rubber Duck!!

From our hotel room in Covington Ky directly across the river in KY..

We close the night with Fireworks after the Reds Game!!

On a scale of 1 to 10 this day was a 10, with lots to remember...
