Back to Dog River Marina

As we prepare to head south, we are keeping a close watch on the weather between Indiana and Mobile Alabama. A storm system is crossing the country dropping, what we wish was not happening, namely RAIN. Our river route north means the majority of the time we will be swimming up stream just like a trout making is way back to its spawning grounds. 

The rain means the rivers will rise and increase the southerly water flow. 

The dark blue line is the water level today at our first two locks. The dot dash dot line is where the weather service is predicting the level will be by this weekend....when we hope to be pushing north. 

Time will tell what the level will actually be......
