On to Pickwick Lake

We start our day from the 143 mile marker headed upstream to Pickwick Lock and Dam. We are actually ahead of schedule and should be able to make it in the Pickwick Lake today enabling us to just relax on Sunday and be ready to haul out on Monday.

The weather is still overcast and gray as we start our day.\

This is another early reminder that you must stay in the channel to avoid danger.

These houses look pretty lonely out in the middle of the farm field.

This guy really hasn't built much yet but you can see he's put a lot of work into the retaining wall and ultimate leave the boat ramp once the concrete is installed.

More houses taking advantage of the view but prepared to be flooded.

This walkway looked wide enough that one could use a scooter to get to the dock.

I just love this house!

Some houses large sum house are small.

Can you tell what this is? It looks to us to be a horse and buggy potentially Amish?

Here comes the rain... Again..
