Ohio River at French Island

These two pictures are the Ohio River at French Island which is upstream on the Newburgh Locks and Dam. As you can see the water is brown with sediment from spring rains (10 feet above pool depth).

No wind and very little traffic.

 

Rockport Indiana on the Ohio

Chuck and I cruised QC up the Ohio river to Owensboro Ky then the next day up to Rockport before heading back to M home port in Evansville In. The weather was great and the water smooth although the water was up with spring rains. There was some drift afloat but not enough to make it difficult.

QC preformed well with no issues. Wifi at Owensboro was free but would not support streaming Netflix but streaming Pandora was fine.
